spencer is gifted an has incredible ambitions. deep down she really cares for those around her, even if she has a hard time showing it. her outer exterior can come across as quite intense and cold, but that is because she has built up defensive walls due to distrust. she also has a bit of insanity instilled in her from the years of torment by alison, a and her family. she is always on the verge of cracking, of having a mental breakdown.spencer loves her friends and toby, deeply. she would do anything for them, even if this sometimes causes her to make bad decisions. she also is selfish, though, and often puts the protection of herself first. this is what caused her to join the a team for a while. she has lingering trauma from the dollhouse experience and everything else she's gone through.
spencer is intelligent, and she knows it. she prides herself in knowing logical explanations and being booksmart. she considers herself the brains of the group, and often is the one used to look up important information or pull things from her own brain to help the girls out.
