Ashley Marin pulled her car into the garage and locked the doors and made her way inside her home. She hadn't known about the terrible ordeal her daughter had been through recently. Whenever she would Hanna what was going on, Hanna would get easily frustrated to the point where it seemed like she was shutting Ashley out. Which honestly annoyed the very living hell out of Ashley because she wanted to show her daughter that she was there for her. How could she show her daughter support if she herself felt like she was being shut out by her child. She knew her daughter could take care of herself, but still being a parent came with the responsibility of going to the ends of the Earth for their child even if that meant keeping secrets and burying things that were better left alone before someone got hurt. Hadn't she at least been able to prove to Hanna that she could tell her anything?
Sighing softly, Ashley went into the kitchen and grabbed a two cups, a kettle, and two tea bags and decided that she tonight was going to be mother and daughter night whether Hanna wanted to spend quality time with her or not. Ashley wasn't going to force her into talking the things she had been through she just wanted to be there for Hanna's sake.
The kettle whistled loudly startling Ashley out of her thoughts and she turned the fire down and waited a few minutes for the kettle to cool down before pouring it into the cups and walked upstairs to Hanna's room and knocked on the door which was halfway opened. "Hey sweetheart," she said smiling softly as she set the cups down and handed one to Hanna. "I made us some tea and before you even think about running off anywhere I want you to know tonight is going to be mother and daughter night because I think we need to talk or at least I feel like I need to get some stuff out in the open," she said as she took a deep breath, praying that her daughter would start off the conversation.
